Back by popular demand, Eastleigh Borough Council’s SportWorks team are delighted once again to bring you the Summer of Sport. Throughout August, adults (aged 16+) across the borough will be able to enjoy a huge range of sports and physical activities, for just a £2 booking fee thanks to funding from Sport England.
With the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio just around the corner, the Summer of Sport will be a great time for residents to try a huge range of sport and physical activities and get into the spirit of the Games.
Activities on offer will include sailing, tennis, baseball, archery, swimming, squash, fitness classes and more. All sports and activities on offer will be just £2 per session booking fee.
All sessions will be run by the best local sport providers and are tailored as introductory taster sessions, giving you the chance to try something new and get fit and active along the way.
The Summer of Sport will run for 4 weeks from Monday 1 August and bookings go live on Tuesday 12 July at www.eastleigh.gov.uk/summerofsport
In September, following the taster sessions, SportWorks will be providing a wide range of subsidised 6-8 week beginner courses, so you can continue participating if you enjoyed your Summer of Sport taster session.
